Wish time could be molded
like pliable Turkish taffy candy
Good moments stretched out
bad, balled up and tossed
Time with you Fridays­
why can't my calendar be open
every Friday at 12?
but alas sometimes weeds grow
on my calendar
and choke out space for Poetry Club.
Will try and be a gardner
pulling out weeds of to-dos
So will have green soil
to write Poetry Club
