Whirling - spinning
Friday shoppers twirled me like a top
with the string tight
Even the hands of the clock
squeezed me today
Iʼm afraid you got me
of my sparks spinning off
for awhile
But now the spinning has stopped
and Iʼm very much settled into
being quiet with you.
