Well, it's over--
the week of playing house.
It was lovely starting the days
with plenty of kisses
knowing it was only playing.
I got cross because I wanted
it to last and to be real.
But, you kept me only as a toy
to be played with and returned.
So, my distress led you to being glad
it was over and we would part.
