Waves are happy today!
They are jumping
Up and down
Landing on their tiptoes
and jolly
Belly laughing
as though
a fat Buddha.
Waves yelling
as they splash lavishly
to their home on the beach.
Sea gulls watch quietly
I watch with a pen in hand.
