louder than the music.
Endless amounts of food
for people eating fast
and rushing –
Where are they rushing to?
Planes to catch?
Sights to see?
I’m thoroughly entertained
by fact have no appointments.
I can simply enjoy
Art of doing nothing today.
All day and all evening.
I’ve had many travel days
with printed schedules
of do’s and see’s
and in bold type things to do.
But today is luxurious
There are no schedule sheets
Just looking forward to enjoying
my friend companion –
Maybe we will sit
and people watch
or enjoy the fact
we don’t have to do anything
and there is no places
we have to be.
A day to waste time
and enjoy doing nothing
but enjoying.
