Three months of shelter in place
taking stock for longer life
A ticket for more life living.
A retreat from junk food
pounds leaving
blood sugar good.
So hopefully more years added
to ones slotted for me to live.
I’ve had to buckle down before
for sake of surviving.
So worth the price.
Life is sweet and delicious—
rather be alive than ashes!
