This morning I walked
out of our cabin.
Water was running off the roof.
I stood at the door
and said, "It's raining."
You walked past the
falling water and said,
"It's not raining here.
The water from the roof
is from last night's rain."
And so, I need in my mind
to get out of the rain
from the past
and stand more
in the present where
it is sunny.
