THE OCEAN
May 2, 2020
Early Poems - Journals Book No. 1 on CD
Watch it--
Follow it --
Look away.
It pushes up from underneath
But one doesn't know where it started to push It weaves for more bumps.
The moon on the ocean rolls
Like oil on water.
And the air seems cold, but that's not so. There's velvet in the feel and all time
In the tempo.
One can say a word
And it is gone.
But a word on mist
Can cling and change the area
With its shadow.
