Yesterday a kind compassionate man
Listened and talked to me
As if he was healing waters
Making the wounded whole.
I was broken into little pieces
And John, in a gentle way,
Brought my broken pieces 
Into wholeness
and smoothness.
John a skillful potterer 
So kind he was to stop 
All his to do’s 
and take the time 
to really listen
and offer help 
Especially during a time
I’m feeling so helpless
