Remembering as a child
wanting to be Peter Pan
and fly
So I put a sheet
tucked to my shoulders
and flew off the piano bench
And Wham I went
sheet and all to the ground.
So now an active poet
I can write away
To be recognized
by many who
enjoy my poetry!
I am an adult
Peter Pan Flying!
