Came to Sacred Grounds
to splash memories of support
to give fertilization for new poems.
Barbara's spirit telling me
she liked a poem after an open mike--
the applause at the last feature
like beautiful ocean surf
covering me with warm water.
I sit here--pre-poised
my flyers around--
a garden for beautiful flowers
of poetry.
