The air conditioner grew
like a fungus
does off a tree.
Maybe a lover in great crescendo
tossed the pillow out behind the air conditioner. Maybe an insomniac not abte to sleep
tossed hard and big
tossing pillow outside
in a crescendo.
Maybe movers to ease load.

Maybe a newlywed
finally getting aggressive
about what not wanting in bed.
Oh I know there could have been
a leak and pillow got wet
so it was put out to dry!
