It's astonishing
how someone I hardly know
can speak for me sometimes
as though we were twins
and then a relative
can only step on my toes.
It's amazing how in life
people sit by us on train rides
for awhile,
then get off at their own station.
It's nice when someone
plays ping-pong with me.
I love the click of the ball
on the paddle.
