clicking and forming
patterns out of yarn.
I can create beautiful patterns
and even cozy sweaters.
But when I had Covid,
The brass knitting needles
of my brain
did not work.
The needles of my brain
just did not work
and did not click.
They slipped and slid
dropping yarn.
