My swizzle stick friend
Is stirring me up to write
for thoughts to fly high
and wide.
He has a way of stirring me up
and around
so poems arise
and pen and pad needed
to contain thoughts.
A big pad is best—Hard to contain
On little pads
On a big pad my thoughts
Can stretch and skate wide.
