My sister took me to a secret garden
in Woods Hole
on Penzance Point
far walking distance
from where we lived.
Soft green grass
tidy bushes and flowered trees.
No one in sight.
What a beautiful garden
just for us.
And now it is there waiting
For us to return to -
to sprawl out on the grass
and just breathe.
