My head is liquid in a blender
whirl — mix — chop —
when it stops, the air is quiet
and still
but then someone comes
and pushes me to “spin”
and I spin
and my ice sprays out the top
and makes a mess
a sloppy mess.
People come in to clean up my mess
and say “ooh, what a mess.”
