My clocks spin around
too fast
as if they are racing.
So where is time
to do all the many
Pieces that make up
Puzzle of my day?
Always pieces fall off table
and at end of day
Puzzle has holes.
How about those
want to do pieces?
There is never enough room
For them
And they are the most colorful.
I try and borrow time
From nighttime.
Get up super early
to start pedaling.
Pedaling as fast can
still time does not
stretch out long enough
to allow all need to do.
So I end up feeling like
a hamster in a cylinder cage
running as fast as can
But not going anywhere-
Just pedaling
and panting.
Always want more water
which does not exist.
Used to grab onto a friend
for balance
But he has grown barnacles
So hurts my hand
if I grab for him.
Trying to make headway
but pieces of to dos
fall clunk on floor.
