Missing the fog
I call to it for return
like calling for a lost kitten.
“Here kitty, kitty, kitty”
Hoping it will return
under Golden Gate Bridge.
I think too much sun
and city noises
keep it from returning.
Perhaps tonight
when it is quiet,
The gray fog cat
will creep under the bridge
again
and sprawl down on the bay.
I certainly hope so.
