I live in Grand Central station
a perpetual rush-hour
lots of announcements
all at once.
People running to platform destination.
I feel very tiny
as if living in the eye of a hurricane.
But! Thankfully
One of the voices making announcements
over the loudspeakers,
funneled to my side
and sat down
and wanted to hear
what I was writing!!!
He listened excellently
making all the blur
of living in Grand Central Station
disappear totally!
