Written while driving back from Richmond.
We are not sure when but think it might
have been during the Christmas holidays, 1966. by Sally and Carter Craigie
In days of old the Knight Errant
Followed the missions of his heart Rescued the damsels from the dragons and was acclaimed at court
upon his victorious return.
Our modern knight possesses
the same qualities of strength,
of derring-do and
the bravado which would command
the undying affection of ladies
who would willingly wear his heart
on their sleeve.
