It's okay to feel my feelings

It's okay to feel my feelings -
To be with them,
To have them,
To allow them.
It's okay to feel,
It's okay to feel uncomfortable with loss. It's okay to feel.
To feel - to just be with my feelings. Even if I have no one to hug
or touch,
or to even talk to.
It's okay to feel sad and remorse.
I have my breath
and ability to breathe deeply.
I am a survivor.
I can put one foot in front of the other. I can take care of myself.
I can be tender and loving to myself.
I don't need to abuse myself
with food.
I know now how to love myself.
