of freshly ironed
hair ribbons.
As a child,
used to enjoy
afterschool
ironing my red most wide
hair ribbon
and slowly
feeling warmth
and flatness
of this special silky ribbon
after ironing it
now as a giant size child,
enjoy memory
of returning in my heart to that
sweet place
where I would enjoy
opening ironing board
and ironing my hair ribbon
after wearing that day
at school.
Again the wide red one
was my favorite to iron and feel-
The width
and edges at side.
Ironing to be perfectly flat
was a pleasure.
