I never had a cuckoo clock
but my friend does.
The cuckoo darts out
when it wants.
Totally engages
takes over air waves
and then shuts away.
There is no way
to regulate when cuckoo clock
appears or how long will stay.
So like a cuckoo clock
my friend.
He darts out
and shuts out
on his assigned
time.
There is no way
I can regulate
how long he stays
or how he relates.
When he’s cuckooing
made of metal
is his cuckoo clock.
