I have a new friend
who claps
and I dance with my pen
and he claps some more
and his very clapping
makes me dance some more
on my pen.
I dance and dance to
the rhythm of his clapping.
My new friend
performs
and I laugh and laugh and laugh
and he is an audience.
When he is the audience,
he shouts for encores
and I play more
and compose right on the stage.
And he performs
and I clap and clap
wanting more.
