So terrified of having
to walk through snow and slip.
All kinds of horrible memories
of falls as a kid.
Awkwardness in kindergarten
in the snow.
Terrified to tears -
Then a kind man, Reggie,
said he would escort methrough the snow.
And he did.
He made a green path of clover,
bright green clover,
like a red carpet in the snow!
That green clover memory
I will cherish
like a gem in my mind.
And when the terrain of life
seems slippery and scary,
I'll rememberthe path
Reggie made of bright green clover
in the snow in the wilderness.
