My sister who lives in London
dragged out of stable
in Pennsylvania
an old grandfather clock
Now it is all fixed perfectly
in her apartment in London.
But chimes and burps so much
I can’t sleep.
It can be disconnected
but her husband
scowls at me
So –I don’t spend the night
with my sister and grandfather clock.
