GRACE AGAINST THE RUSh
May 7, 2020
Early Poems - Journals Book No. 1 on CD
A bird lay stunned along a road
While speeding cars swept by.
Each time, he was nearly hit again.
None was concerned to save this scrap
Of beauty.
My heart throbbed.
But I should be criticized if I called out. Here in this incident,
Two textures are being weighed;
Grace against
The rush of man.
