Going to the beach
Waves rushing—
Tumbling
to greet me.
They clumsily trip
And fall
War stampeding waves
to follow close behind
Huffing and puffing
Waves run to shore
with enormous excitement.
Some waves
lie on their backs
and spreadeagle
Arms open wide.
They are still
for a few minutes
Then new stampeding waves
run over them.
