For many years
I have regularly
rode a plane
cross country.

as we ride over
big storms
and wind bumps.
His voice
over loudspeaker
Immediately
calms me
and all the sudden
the bumps are not
so very bumpy
and I am able
to lift the shade
and enjoy the scenery.
