Oh how wonderful
to have a small piece of time
to simply sit
and recalibrate.
To let the bits and pieces
of my soul settle
and sort themselves out.
I’ve been like a plastic snowball
all shaken up
by many people
this past week.
Now! The end of the
prickly wobbly road
and I can sit
and sitting feels so comfortable
The dust has settled
Loud voices in my mind have quieted.
Every cell in my body
and breath a sigh of relief
I am simply a pedestrian
walking along sidewalk
Like everyone else
no longer singing
no longer racing
just being normal
and ordinary
and ordinary feels so good.
