Early Poems to Read Christmas Eve
(The images came to me while I was doing dishes.)
I am the earth - I know how the land feels and how heavy the seas are. I can feel the worms as they wiggle and I hold the roots. You out there are the astronauts who can see me as an unit. You can take pictures. I can never get out like you can. So, tell me - what do you see? How do my pressures that I hold look? What do they form? Are my depths deep out there or are they merely blotches? Please show me my pictures.
