Terry, remember the multi mirrors
in the studio -
if you brought the sides in close,
you'd see faces going way back?
Now I see you - the man now
and remember Terry the child,
Then Terry the young man.
And I see Terry mirrored
in your children.
Remembering also my great Aunt Matty who seemed very old
when I was a child.
Now I have her role
and I think I'm young.
But through your kid's eyes,
my faxless missing tooth to them
dates me into antiquity.
In a wink, you'll be a great uncle
then your children will follow.
