My pockets are empty
so I am not able
to give you time
out of them.
I put my hands into
my deep pockets
and end up empty
of time-
no time to give you
not time for others
for if I had time in my pocket
would dig into them
and give to you.
Not a dime of time
do I have to give.
No deep pockets of time
I just have time
for myself and my life.
