EDNA SAINT VINCENT MILLAY
April 25, 2020
Droplets and other Poems
As a child she stood on the mountains
And begged for the sky.
She ran with the grasses
And frolicked with the flowers.
The fire of genius pounded
Within her blood
Expanded her soul to limits unknown
She wrote The King's Henchmen
Which gave her genius a home.
