So much pressure
twisting my brain,
so I make mistakes
and have noticed
those around me
are making mistakes, too.
I must be kinder to myself
and not pick on myself so much
for what I’m not doing
and what I could be doing more
like those piles of paper
instead of shredding
are growing higher like weeds.
I thought someday
I would tackle them
but that someday has never come.
