Have a friend who reminds me
of a stately castle
Sometimes depending on the moon cycle,
draw bridge is down
But then locked doors at entrance.
I can see many windows of
different rooms –
each very different.
I thought of describing him
as a secret garden
But secret garden would be describing a woman with beautiful flowers.
He is definitely a tall castle
with many locked entrances to me.
I can see the castle best from afar.
The more I knock on the doors
the tighter the locks.
Still I enjoy this mysterious castle
Even though I know its inner rooms
are not available to me.
But! Sometimes the drawbridge is down
and I can skip up it UNTIL …….
