Clapping for Jesus
on a Saturday night
while rock band plays.
The adults louder than children­
Going to church 7 PM Saturday night
First time - never done before.
Attended cousin's wedding
at proper wedding time of 4 PM
years ago.
Their children are all grown
and blanket I gave them for gift
has holes and is tattered
like their marriage she says.
I'm remembering going to Grateful Dead concert where music blasted
and peoples' arms reached high
to the high ceiling.
This church service or is it called meeting
at 7 PM Saturday night is like that.
