Chilly breezy August day
at Ocean Beach
Just me and my friend
and a few stray people
more seagulls than people.
Barren cement path
Between highway and the beach.
Chilly breezes
Balancing me
Fresh air blowing
in my brain
erasing cobwebs.
The bareness of the emptiness
of the beach
Soothes my insides
offering peace
and lack of
over-stimulating bombardment.
