CHARACTER SKETCH OF SALLY
April 11, 2020
Sally comes in
And sits in a small space
And hides behind
Bill, Bud or Pete.
She leans toward
Them for support
Because she doesn't
have enough confidence
To face it alone.
The tougher the situation,
The more she leans and hides
Because the more
Unsure she becomes.
To Mr. Kinney she says,
"Don't you dare take
My support away."
Bill's weakness is
Sally's support;
Now to be able to stand
So Bill can grow.
That is what I want.
I need the Bill type.
Yet, the Bills need to be allowed
To speak out and grow;
Not suffocated by soothing.
And so I hold my needs,
At least try to,
So there will be room
And space for Bill
To expand.
