Can’t keep up with myself
I say will give a lecture.
Then when the time comes,
I’m not up to it.
I invite someone over
and when the evening comes,
I don’t want to do it.
But want to do something totally different.
I can’t keep up with myself.
A taller self goes ahead.
The real younger self cannot catch up.
