Remembering pearly white snow
On pasture hills at Idlewild
Looks so wonderful
to sled down
and I would over and over
especially with sunlight buffing it!
But!
Always landing on gravel
that was jarring and uncomfortable
Many
times,
wanted to sled
Down white pearly hill
Until finally one day
I said “enough” landing in gravel
And walked away
So did not sled anymore
Down round smooth snow
on hill in meadow
at Idlewild.
