As an eighty-year old,
My body’s so bothersome.
I have the body of an eighty-year old
But!
The mind of a teenager
and temperament of a toddler!
Wanting to climb to rocky terrains
and skip over all the rough terrains
but Instead, need to stand at the ridge
hanging-on tight to my young companion.
Wish could have
Complete body replacement
Except for my smile,
Heart and soul.
Wish could simply step out
of this jalopy body
like a caterpillar does
spread my wings and fly high.
