Banana and pear
Two fruits –
So different
yet compatible –
The banana can lean
Its lean body
just right on pear’s
Roundness
And the pear likes the closeness
of tall lean banana.
Symbiotic relationship
Comforted by each other
Connected but so different
They look different from outside
yet, they like to be next
to each other.
Even if it is a telephone wire
connecting them across the country.
