As a two year old
I would run down the road
to the ocean.
Now I'm grown
and again
I am running to the ocean.
This time it's the Pacific Ocean.
Growing up with Summers
in Woods Hole
where going to the ocean
was a relief
always.
I'm moving to the ocean
to live among ocean air
and fog
in search of relief.
