Am very thirsty for solitude
plenty of fresh solitude
no one around
no one telling me what
I should be doing.
Just want time and space
to be me-
to be able to flap
my brain and arms
any which way
without anyone telling me
anything. Not saying a word
want blank time
on my calendar-
Plenty of time
me glorious time
The best time of all.
Why is it
after people are
absolutely kind to me
I must have no interaction
with anyone?
Been like this for years
Puzzling.
How after I phoenix high
must retreat back
into my marble shell
Down deep inside
where social stillness is?
