Again solitary seagull
stands to greet me
on my morning walk.
Seagulls yell niceties
I respond
Then we are both quiet.
Along sidewalk
yellowed dandelions
lined one after another
decorate walkway
as though
They are golden buttons
lined up
up and down
on the front of a jacket.
