A waterfall starts in a womb
And then is born to stones and detour.
It goes always ahead-
Sometimes it is sent spinning
And sometimes it is split into bits
Yet always onward.
It is the obstacles that it surmounts
Plus its determination
That gives it its luster
Which continues
Even without and audience.
