There is something I must say
About Saturday -
Of the colors at the races
On the wide canvas,
The woods unspoiled
And so was Mrs Schoettle.
The walk back in the dark
That joins
And makes communication special.
Dinner at cozy “Maurice”
And that gentle man at McGeeʼs Cafe
I donʼt know what I have to say -
Itʼs unrealized.
Maybe it is the satisfaction
of being moved by softness.
