too many long corridors
and few windows that open
to fresh air.
I pass nameless people regularly
silent clay figures without expressions
This giant size tin can
stretches on for a city block
wonder what people on sidewalk think.
Anyway, you have care inside
my uniform front too
and with a searching flashlight
seen into hidden crevices
that are covered with dust.
